iPad 2 News - Steve Jobs Did a Great Presentation!
I was in the break room at my office making a cup of coffee. The news on the T.V. in the break room is always on. With my back to the T.V. making my coffee, I suddenly heard great news from the news reporter, "iPad 2 is coming out!" I quickly turned around and there it was, on the T.V., the iPad 2.
The news reporter was telling us all the great features that the iPad 2 has. They then showed Steve Jobs walking out on a stage. The reporter continued saying Steve Jobs was out for a while. People were standing up and clapping their hands welcoming Steve Jobs.

Visit to Texas State Capitol with 2 Great Days Meeting and Speaking with Senators and Representatives
With my passion for and study of leadership all my life, I was so excited to get to meet our senators and representatives in Austin, Texas. I always admire how various leaders in our history have shaped and molded their times and environment, and how their decisions have affected their future and our present.
Going to the State Capitol with our Leadership Team from the Lewisville Chamber of Commerce meant so much to me. Yes, this one trip has made a difference in my passion and desire to do more and wanting to learn more about how I can help our community prosper and grow.
My two-day visit to Austin included a private meeting with Senator Jane Nelson speaking to our Leadership group, and was followed by the Homeland Security, Representative Tan Parker - two days - what an eye opener for me! I had two great days of learning about and meeting our great public servants.
